In few moments from now, the Big Brother Naija (Lockdown edition) will come to an end after 71 days of intriguing drama on our Tv sets.

The reality show, which is the fifth season, premiered on the 19th of July, 2020 with 20 housemates, has been trimmed to five finalists via the voting and eviction method.

Currently, the five contestants left in the house are Laycon, Nengi, Dorothy, Neo, and Vee. One of them would be going home with the N85m winner-takes-all worth of prizes, which is the most significant package ever seen in the competition.

All the housemates have equal chances of claiming the prize depending on how their fans vote. But judging by the trends on social media and offline activities shows that Laycon is undoubtedly the favorite.

Laycon wasn't the fan favorite when the competition started, but he won people over with his talent and brilliance as the show progressed.

Meanwhile, countless fans and celebrities have thrown their weight behind Laycon to claim the prize.

Some celebrities who have made their support vocal amidst canvassing for votes on social media include; Reminisce, Niniola, Teni, Ice Prince, Broda Shaggi, Odulade Adekola, Eniola Badmus, Small Doctor, Yvonne Jegede, Woli Agba, and Stephanie Coker.

Samklef, a music producer - turned blogger, also said on Friday that he had raised over N900,000 for airtime, which would enable fans to vote massively.

Events were organized in several Lagos parts by fans and celebrities where people were given airtime and encouraged to vote Laycon.

The overwhelming support of Laycon speaks volumes as fans glue to their Tv sets tonight, waiting on the emergence of the 2020 winner of BBN.

Laycon seems to be the chosen one, and anything short of a win would be viewed as a shocker.
