Diamond Platnumz' WASAPI TV SUSPENDED!

Wasafi Television owned by Bongo Flava Artiste, Diamond Platnumz has been suspended for six months by the Tanzania Communication Regulatory Authority (TCRA) for flouting broadcast regulations Tumewasha festival.
Johannes Kalunge, the TCRA interim Director while addressing the media in Dar Es Salam on Wednesday, January 6 said the station, which Diamond Platnumz has interest in, contravened broadcast regulations, leading to it being ordered off-air and instructed to issue a public apology.
According to Kalunge, the station also televised Gigy Money live, a singer and socialite singer and socialite while dancing almost nude on January 1. Kalunge warned of further legal measures against Wasafi Tv should it fail to observe the directive.
